Class Mascot Project

Hello.This week team 12 were sharing our projects on naming our class mascot project our teacher got a soft toy and what we had to do was we had to choose a name and  its gender.My project was Diego the Sumatran tiger he is a boy.We had to do some research My research was people hunt  them down for their skin and bones i  don't know why though but ITS VERY MEAN!!!!. there is only less then 500 Sumatran tigers in the world.They have up to 2-6 cubs the cubs stay with their mothers for 18 month then they leave the challenge for me was getting all this research and I enjoyed naming the tiger because there was so many names to choose.We also had to do a back story for the tiger.The tigers name ended up being Lee Lee which means leader and thinks before she  does  the tiger is a girl and that's all I have for today. bye. Kiwi kids quiz

Hello in room12 this week we had to do a kiwi kids quiz my score was 9 out of 10. I was so close to 10 and I'm very proud of myself I hope I do better next time. bye.

Hello For homework this week in room 12 we had to do a quiz for kiwi kids quiz . my score was AWESOME it was 8 out of 10 that is better than last time. I cant wait for the next quiz I hope i get them all right at least once well that's my post bye.

This week our teacher Mrs p gave us a assignment to do on the web site kiwi kids news.co.nz my score was 8 out of 10. i thought i was gonna get that score so YAY!!! I'm quite happy about that. that's my post so cya later.     :)

Swim safe

Hello again last week room 12 went to swim safe. We went there every day of the week even if it was raining.We had alot of fun there. My  favourite part of swim safe was going in the very deep  pool. Now im not going to tell you all about it but I hope this slide will swim safe on PhotoPeach bye.

Maths

Hello again my post today is on my maths. Today when I was doing my times tables I didn't get them very well but now I got the hang of it. It is really easy now that I've had a little practice and now I've caught up with my group. Heres an example 7x5=35 and I didn't use to know straight away because I know how to split the lowest number it was a bit tricky when the numbers were both the same because it's a bit confusing but I got the hang of it . maori language week

Last week was Maori Language Week. I learnt lots of Maori language it was really fun. I  learnt the body song in Maori and counting up to twenty in Maori. The thing I enjoyed the most was probably teaching rm 5 the body song in Maori. Overall it  was really fun bye.
